Its unique double-rhythm six-count basic and fancy footwork flourishes distinguish it from other styles of swing from the Carolina Shag to the Lindy Hop & Balboa. Today it’s evolved into a polished\, dynamic social dance with creative footwork flourishes and seemingly endless patterns. We’ll cover the basic single and double rhythm footwork\, dancing from closed to open position and back\, breaking away\, then we’ll do it all over faster.
