The Swing Remix Saga continues into WINTER 2020 SEASON with our headliner The EYAL VILNER BIG BAND on Saturday February 15th! In addition, there will be Pre-Dance WORKSHOPS, A BEGINNER SWING CLASS (Free with General Admission), LIVE MUSIC, DANCE PERFORMANCES and Lots of SOCIAL DANCE TIME. PLUS A VINTAGE MARKET, VINTAGE FILMS and give aways at our showtime hour.

WORKSHOPS
6:30PM (55min) – SWING WORKSHOP | 1920s Partnered Charleston (Adv Basics and up)
Location: Auditorium L2
Kick up your heels with 1920’s partnered charleston! We’ll go over the basic rhythm of charleston, traveling patterns and the fundamental ideas that define this dance!

7:30PM (55min) LINDY HOP | 1920’s Lindy Hop (Intermediate and up)
Location: 4th Floor
In celebration of the Centennial of the Roaring Twenties, this class teaches students the earliest forms of lindy hop! Learn new versions of familiar steps that help you connect with pre-swing jazz styles.

7:45PM (30 min) BEGINNER SWING | Level: Beginner Open
Location: Auditorium L2 This class is great if you’re new to swing or if you would like a refresher on partnering. You’ll learn techniques that will bring you up to speed with the crowd of swing dancers. This class is FREE with your General Admission ticket.
